Proud wife to Sean, loving mama to Mason and Emory. Thirty years young, Jersey born and raised, recent transplant to Pennsylvania, wannabe interior stylist, but in reality a fulltime working mama in the corporate world.
Sean and I met in 2005 while attending Rider University. I was a freshman he was a super-senior...ladies, it's really true what they say about older men - they are more mature! In 2010, Sean and I got married and soon after we learned we were expecting our first child.
Our beautiful baby boy, Mason Ryder was born on August 25, 2011. Around the time we celebrated Mason's first birthday, we realized I realized I wanted another child. Sean was perfectly content just loving on Mason - - - and I can't say I blame him, he was one amazing baby! But like with most things we disagree on, I got my way and in a just a few months, we learned that we were expecting baby #2. On July 1, 2013, we welcomed our precious daughter Emory Madelyn into the world. Our hearts were so full and our little family was complete. Or so we thought...
During the Fall of 2015, we decided to add one more little person to our family. In December 2015, I tested positive and very soon after experienced a miscarriage. Almost one year later we learned we were expecting again. At 10 weeks we learned that our baby no longer had a heartbeat. We were devastated, but we are still determined to have baby #3.
This blog is a creative way for me to document my life. It's not always perfect, in fact sometimes it's just messy, but I am choosing to believe there's always a message to be found in the mess and that message just might resonate with you!
